In order to measure the level of materials in tanks, there are various methods, the best and newest of which is the use of electromagnetic waves or radar. In addition to high accuracy, this method is easily responsive in tanks with difficult conditions such as great depth, presence of bottom or heterogeneous surfaces, presence of vapors or suspended powder particles, high temperature, corrosiveness and flammability of the materials inside the tank. The radar level gauges produced by Rah Sabze Chehelston Company use radar waves and FMCW technique in the frequency band of 9.6 to 10.8 GHz for distance measurement.
